LFCIA SoCal

Content Scheduling Social and Email

I utilized CoSchedule and Constant Contact as my main tools to schedule out the posted content for the soccer club’s social media and emails.

Email Content Writing

LFCIA SoCal’s emails out to the members of the club ranged from targeted advertising emails for upcoming tryouts and camps for players to general newsletters showcasing player/club achievements, game schedules, and fun events for the whole family.

Social Content Writing

The social content advertised upcoming tryouts, camps, & games, reminders of payment dates for club dues, and celebratory posts for players and coaches like college signings and award recipients, all in a few short sentences.

Curation of Content

To keep members of the club engaged with LFCIA SoCal, I curated a selection of content to post ranging from the dates and times of Liverpool games to interviews with the professional men and women’s teams.

What’s the best way to make competitive sports appealing to younger generations? That’s the question we had to answer when teaming up with Liverpool Football Club International Academy Southern California (LFCIA SoCal) last month for a very special campaign. LFCIA SoCal is a premier soccer academy dedicated to developing members’ skills both on and off the field. With a little normalcy returning to life, we were charged with conceptualizing a marketing campaign to increase membership.

Focusing on upcoming tryouts, our social media campaign employed eye-catching shades of red that allowed visuals of young players in action to stand out. To emphasize the club’s close-knit, community-centered environment we featured existing photos of the club’s current members wearing the excitement of the game in their faces, making the campaign more personable. It was equally important to show players of such a young age group exhibiting the club’s valued traits of perseverance, commitment, and team spirit while simultaneously having fun.

Honing in on a specific audience and goal, and then implementing and incorporating the club’s overall messaging and values in a way that made sense for the targeted population helped us succeed in gaining the necessary membership for LFCIA SoCal’s season.
